was originally a small port and fishing village. Javea is located
about half way between ALicante Airport and Valencia airport.
Javea is actually the closest point of mainland spain to the
Balearic Islands, although the main ferry terminal for Ibiza
and Mallorca is in Denia, the next town to the North East of
Javea.
